A Basic Change Oil includes changing the engine oil and the engine filter. It is MyCASA's practice to always recommend oil flushing to help take out as much of the old dirty oil as possible, before pouring in the new oil.

Basic Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) includes CHANGE OIL, PLUS additional jobs that are required for proper maintenance of the vehicle. Additional jobs depend on the (1) current mileage of the vehicle, (2) use of the vehicle (3) condition of the vehicle as well as (4) type of vehicle. Description of jobs covered in a vehicle PMS are usually found in the Vehicle Owner’s Manual or Warranty Booklet. MyCASA can also recommend PMS jobs and schedules based on vehicle condition and MyCASA database. Commonly replaceable items under PMS procedures that are covered by MyCASA services are the following:

  • Engine Air Filter
  • Cabin Filter
  • Fuel Filter
  • Spark Plugs / Glow Plugs
  • Wipers

Aside from oil, MyCASA offers change of vehicle fluids like (1) brake fluid (2) radiator coolant (3) transmission fluid (4) gear oil. Procedures and compatibility of fluids need to be verified according to the type of vehicle.

MyCASA offers change of EXTERNAL belts and hoses. These include alternator belts, drive belts, compressor belts, radiator hoses, brake hoses.

Change of brake pads or shoes are always done on a per pair (left and right) basis. Upon installation of new pads, the brake system is also cleaned in the process. It is MyCASA practice to always reface the rotor upon changing of pads. See rotor description.

In this procedure, brake dust/residue and contaminants are taken out. The external brake components are also cleaned and lubricated when necessary. Condition of the pads and shoes are also checked. Brake cleaning is always done for all four (4) wheels. For the best maintenance, this process is done every year.

Over use, rotors get worn. This leads to brake problems like noise, vibration, uneven feel and poor performance. Rotor re-surface ensures that rotors function optimally in relation to the brake pads and brake system. MyCASA uses an on-car brake lathe machine that allows re-surfacing to be done without taking out the rotors. This is faster and the result gives better performance as the rotor is re-surfaced on its actual axis of rotation.

The first part of Engine decarbonize is performed by dispensing a cleaning chemical into the intake system of the vehicle. The chemical cleans dust and residue that has accumulated over time and use. At the same time, the chemical lubricates the intake system. This helps minimize buildup of dirt and residue. Before application, it is necessary to inspect the intake tunnel right behind the throttle butterfly mechanism. When there is thick gunk already, the intake system needs to be take down and manually cleaned before the decarbonize procedure. This is a separate service that requires a separate service fee. The second part of the decarbonize process is to mix a second can of chemical into the fuel tank. This chemical mixes with the combustion to clean the exhaust system of the vehicle. It is MyCASA practice to recommended a follow through application of fuel injector cleaner to complete the combustion system cleaning. This is done by mixing another can of chemical into the fuel system upon the next fuel fill up. For the best maintenance, this process is done every 15,000 kms. This maintenance process helps minimize the carbon buildup and helps avoid the need for manual intake manifold cleaning in the future.

Over time and use, dirt and gunk accumulate within the intake manifold chambers and its components. This blocks the flow of air that leads to inaccurate readout of sensors and poor vehicle performance. In this process, the complete intake manifold system and components are taken down and cleaned manually. This service is highly recommended for diesel vehicles with over 40,000 km mileage, and gasoline engine with over 60,000 km mileage, AND have not yet undergone any decarbonize process.

Shock absorbers keep the ride stable, safe and smooth. Worn out shock absorbers not only compromise the ride comfort of the vehicle, but also the safety. It is highly recommended to replace as a set (at least by front or rear pair). At the same time, the shock mounts should ideally be replaced also. In some cases wheel alignment might be necessary after the replacement. This can be done in a recommended shop.

This service involves basic detailing to clean the vehicle exterior. After cleaning, a glass coating chemical is applied on the vehicle surface. This chemical bonds to the top coat to help protect and preserve the condition of the vehicle exterior. This can be applied to the entire exterior surface EXCEPT rubber materials.

This is a 3-step process. The first step is surface cleaning by a detailing clay bar with a cleaning agent. This picks up the dirt, oil and other contaminants on the paint surface. Step 2 is buffing using a cleaning compound. This takes out the swirl marks and light scratches. Step 3 is application of sealing carnauba wax. This seals the paint with a polymer wax, at the same time gives it that showroom shine. Reapplication depends on the use and exposure of vehicle to the environment.

Waterless engine detailing can be performed as long as the engine is not heavily covered with thick oil, dirt, and grime. Special chemical is applied to clean and dress the engine and its non-sensitive components.

Antibacterial chemical is dispensed throughout the interior of the vehicle. This chemical eliminates bacteria that cause odor to give back that pleasant clean smell of the vehicle. This is highly recommended whenever interior becomes exposed to moisture.

Cleaning chemical is applied on window and glass surfaces to remove the acid rain marks.

Old radiator coolant (or water) is flushed, cleaned and replaced through the use of MyCASA pressurised dialysis machine. The process involved continuous replacement of fluid until the whole system becomes clean of contaminants. It is MyCASA practice to always fill with radiator coolant fluid.

Using the MyCASA ATF Dialysis Machine, automatic transmission fluid is continuously pumped into the transmission system to ensure that all of the old fluid is completely flushed out of the system. This minimises contamination of the new fluid, which leads to better vehicle performance.
